Computer Guy

We are in the process of having new offices built out upstairs in this building. The company's computer guys are here today working on the lines upstairs. I wonder if they are looking at me typing this right now. I am on a coffee break so no worries. It ain't like I am surfing for porn! Today is beautiful! I have this bubbling up feeling in me that wait a minute feels like happiness! For no good reason just happy although the talker could put an end to all that! Naw,it is too nice a day. Okay nothing really to say except that I wanted to note that today I am happy and it is a Tuesday! Go figure. Hope you have a happy day too.

Hi Poody.
I'm not sure what you mean by a skilled nursing facility. I sure all the nurses would say "Yes, we are!" I am an activities provider (some call it a diversional therapist or respite provider) and Assistant in Nursing (that's the bottom of the nursing tree) in a high dependency residential aged care facility. Before we got all politically correct here in Oz, we used to call them nursing homes. It's God's waiting room really. Or the green room for the Giant Turtle or Elysian Fields or whatever. I love these oldies...it's hard not to get attatched to them. I am aiming to get into community nursing over the next few years, which, I guess, is the US equivalent of home nursing.
I've been reading the blog belonging to Olive Riley, she's 107, and has met a really good bloke who's made a short film about her, and has now set her up and writes her blog for her. She calls it her 'blob'...It's called "The Life of Riley", if you're interested.

Thanks for reading, Poody. Call in anytime! ;0)
